Good Afternoon Readers,
Hope you are all well,  weather a bit on the gloomy side today........ think the sun has gone on vacation..... as we have not seen much of it lately, well so far the day has gone well, my truck is back...... and I had a nice relaxing ride with Mary this morning up at the yard, one of those rides were you just ride along, chatting away, nice and relaxed......... and when I returned home, I found hubby cleaning the kitchen....... asked if he wanted me to do anything and he said no he was fine, so had a shower, and disappeared in to my Craft Room...... I must admit, I did feel a bit guilty...... but the feeling didn't last long, switched on the computer, and was reading the , Purple Princess Diaries to find that you do not have to use a Hobby Cut die cut, to be able to join the challenge over at hobbycutzchallenges.blogspot.  you just have to follow the theme...... Yay how cool is that, so decided to enter the challenge, I joined the blog a while back, but thought you had to use a Hobby Cut Die......... the theme they are doing at the moment is Mothers Day, as in America it is not the same time as ours, so seeing as our Mother's Day has been and gone, thought I would make my Amazing Mum a wall hanging for her bedroom, and below is the outcome.

Good Morning Readers,
Hope you are well, and busy crafting........ well the weather here today is a mixture of  sun and cloud, hopefully it will not rain........ well Noah, has gone to the garage, to be repaired, so I am house bound again today...... so have spent quite a bit of the morning perusing the Webb.......... not always a good idea, spent some time on Pinterest downloading some of the freebie digi stamps........ one of which I hope to use in a challenge over on cutecardthursday.blogspot also entered a challenge this morning over on, cardsinenvy.blogspot.  first time, which was lovely as the rules are not to use thick embellishments, and the card size has to be no larger than a 5 by 5, so found that great fun, all card's entered have to be able to slide in to an envelope for posting, without having any bulgy bits...... well as my regular readers now I am on the DT for, Fat Tastic Tuesdays, and I am getting very excited as it is not long before we go live....... really looking forward to the challenges ahead, anyhoo I started a card for the artisticinspirationschallenges.blogspot. challenge yesterday, and had to leave it, as I was getting a bit of crafters block....... so came back to it this morning and the outcome is below.......

Recipe For This Card Is,

Size 5 by 5 White Card Blank 320gsm
Base Card has been covered with a Vintage Design Sheet by K & Co,
Steampunk Stamp is by Kaiser Craft,
Image has been shaded using Spectrum Noir Ink Pens,
Spellbinder Flower Die,
White Paper Roses
Two Crystal Tipped Hat Pins,
Dragon Fly X Cut Punch
Pink Organza Bow

I stamped the image in to the centre of the base card, then die cut the flower in to the design sheet, placing the cut out piece over the image, to give the effect of an appature, the roses were an off white, so I went around the edges with a Spectrum Noir pen in pink. The sentiment is computer generated, and then cut using a Spellbinder Oval Die.

Cards in Envy Challenge Anything with Wings..........

Morning Guys,

I went to pick him up after I had finished work last night, and honestly, when I saw him, it was like a scene from Wuthering Height's , the bit with Heathcliffe running across the moors, only Heathcliffe was played by me, running towards my truck arms outstretched  saying Noah you're back, really anybody watching me must have thought I was a raving looney, rather glad it was dark actually, on reflection..... so Noah is back in his rightful place once more, so this afternoon, I entered a new challenge over on ,pinspirationalchallenges.blogspot. and below is the outcome, I even got to use some new stash I acquired today, some great stamps by Papermania, called Hampstead........

Is This What Journaling is Supposed To Look Like !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys,
Yes, this is my second blog today......... have been looking at Journaling, but not sure what to do...... so I had a go, and this is what I came up with....... is this what it is supposed to look like........or do I need to get special craft items for this style.
How I achieved this look, printed the text design sheet on to card, then added my sentiment, stamped the design onto the base card, then stamped out a rose, shaded it in, then cut it out and added it to the design.

Not Everything Has to Be Stamped.........

Good Afternoon All,

First things first, I would like to say a big hello to, Linda, who has just joined my blog , thank you for taking the time to visit, please pop in from time to time...... I was up the stables first thing, had my private lesson with Anne, which went very well, Ace was a good boy, which makes a change, he usually puts up a fight over something he does not want to do....... had coffee with the girls at the yard, took the rabble for there run, and returned home, back to work on Sunday ( Sigh), and will be confined to the house tomorrow, my truck goes in for it's MOT, fingers crossed all will be well, so tomorrow will be spent crafting in one way or another...... the other day I purchased the Papercraft Essentials Magazine, and found some very pretty cards using only die cuts, which I thought was rather refreshing....... so I had a bash at doing one of the designs, using the craft stash that I have, so here goes,
Materials Used,
5 by 7 Scalloped Edged White Base Card

Landscape, Portrait, ARGHH........

Good Evening All,

A late blog today....no excuse, just got carried away with a few things, anyhoo, here now, well hope you are all well, and the weather is good, not to bad today here in Cornwall, cloudy with a bit of sun, at least dry....... well I have been playing with my new cutting machine again today....... will I ever get the hang of it I ask myself...... it seem so complicated compared to my Cricut...... landscape, portrait, A4, 12"by 12", tab settings, front load, tray load, that's even before you have decided what you want to cut ARGHH, so hubby who is much much more patient than me, is going to have a play around with it tonight, while I go and have a coffee and a haircut at my daughters, and when I return home, hubby will have all the answers for me......well today I purchased a craft magazine, Paper Craft Essentials, didn't really take much notice as I was in a hurry, and what with all the playing about this afternoon, forgot I had it, so imagine my delight when I did get it out of my bag, and found that it came with a free CD ROM of Debbie Moore's Glitter and Glitz Art Deco Rome, which came in handy as I needed to make a card for a friend, So I did using all of the elements from one of the design sheets........

Tried To Create A Steampunk Effect Tag !!!!!!!!!!!

Good Afternoon All,

Hope you are all well, first things first, I would like to welcome Lady Ann to my blog, Hello Lady Ann, thank you for taking the time to look at my blog, I am sure we will be in touch again, as we are fellow DT members over on Fat-Tastic Tuesday, will not be long now before we go live...... well hope you all had a good weekend....... weather here in Cornwall, not to bad at the mo, keep catching glimpses of the sun.... well yesterday myself and hubby played around with my new
E Craft cutting machine....... not bad still a lot to learn, but hopefully will get the hang of it, and be able to use it to it's true potential......anyhoo we cut out these lovely whimsical shapes, and I thought what can I use them on, as they were cut in a glossy card with a pattern on, so I tried to create a Steampunk Tag, the mannequin stamp was a free digi stamp, that I coloured in using Papermania's Metallic Brush Markers, to give a metal effect, I mounted the design on to a matt meatl effect gold card , then added my Whimsical cut outs, and stamped randomly some small cogs, Lizzie up the yard gave me a tin of old buttons, so added a couple of  tarnished gold buttons, and an old key that was in the tin, this is my first attempt at creating anything like this, but enjoyed it........
