While I am here I would just like to explain a bit about the
Completely Christmas Challenge's,
Each one of the Challenges will be
Anything Goes.....
apart from each month there will be,
a Mid Month Sketch,
otherwise Anything Goes, as long as the project is
Christmas....
Good Afternoon Readers,
Well what a soggy old day, it has not stopped raining here in my little corner of Cornwall all day ....... surely there can't be that much more left up there !!!!! So it was rather soggy and wet up the yard this morning, horses stayed in, but it gave me a chance to catch up with trimming Ace, I cut about 4ins of his tail, as it was dragging on the floor, he has the most gorgeous black tail and so thick, and when it gets wet it goes all wavy ..... so he had his magnetic blanket on this morning, and a trim and a spruce, and by the time I was finished he looked stunning, so I left Ace in his stable happy munching, and went on a livery lesson riding one of Anne's horses, a 16/2 thick set Black Cob called Cyril, he was gorgeous ...... not as gorgeous as Ace obviously ..... very similar in build but slightly taller..... and I had a super lesson, evidently he is being quite strong to hold, and wants to keep galloping to the back of the ride all the time, so Anne decided to put me on him, and at the end of the lesson Anne did say that I rode him very well, you are always a bit on the cautious side when you ride something new, as you are not sure on there temperament, but Cyril behaved in a most gentlemanly manner...... after I put Cyril back, it was Ace's turn, so this morning I have rode quite a bit, but loved every minute, the day has been so so much better than yesterday ...... then it was time for a coffee and a banana, I gave my good friend Mary a box of chocolates and a thank you card for being such a gem yesterday, after my ordeal, I made the card last night, and she was delighted with it..... I used my digital program, and a CD my Mum gave me of Sherrie Baldy Digi Stamps....
But for me today has been Fantastic ..... hope you have a good day too!!!!!!
