Again another early blog for me, second night shift, one more tonight, then of until Monday Yipee........ Last night was a hellish shift, clients in bad moods, was wondering if it was a full moon....... but I do not think so, anyhoo, once all were tucked up in bed we could relax... and the rest of the shift sailed by with only a couple of hiccups...... but was glad when 07.00 came and I could go home...... the rabble were waiting at the front door to welcome me, and once I had battled my way to the kitchen, made a coffee, and came in to speak to you all, and to also join in with the fun over on craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge were the theme is snowmen or snow women......

Well Good Morning Readers,

Good Morning Readers,

Well once again a nice early blog for me today....... as my readers will know, I am back in to work again tonight, the first of three night shift's, were does the time go.... it only seemed like yesterday that I was finishing....... anyhoo I would like to welcome Sue B, to my blog, thank you Sue for taking the time to drop by, hope you will pop back from time time........ well this morning I am going to visit my Mum, who is not very well at the moment,she came out of hospital last week fine, but seems to have taken a step back....... hopefully things will sort themselves out........ it's such a worry, as you do not know what to do for the best...... well yesterday I had a very busy day, did the things around the house I wanted to do, and caught up with my DT work, and even did a couple of challenge entries........ so all in all a very productive day...... 52 { Christmas } Card Throwdown July Embellishment Challenge ................

Good Morning Readers,

Well a nice early blog for me today, as I have quite a bit to do around the house, and I also need to do some DT work this afternoon, Hubby working today, so should be able to get a fair bit done........ spent a nice afternoon yesterday with friends, went to Weather Spoons for a coffee and a chat, also got my gems I wanted to get and some really pretty papers, such gorgeous colours, and they are also textured and only 99p bargain, see the pic below..... I also popped in to the British Heart Foundation, and put my name down to be a volunteer in the shop, may or may not hear back from them we will see, and of course while in there I  purchased a nice top....... this morning up the yard as per usual, gave Ace an electric massage, and put his bio flow magnets on...... spoiled brat........ so left him very relaxed in his stable, it's something I try and do at least once a month, as I am sure he get's aches and pains as much as I do...... then had a coffee with the girls, before running the rabble on the fields, I am now back at home talking to you, well below is my entry for the challenge over on 52cct.blogspot were the challenge is Stitching Real or Faux, so I had some pretty Funky Fibre in White and Silver, and threaded it through the scalloped edge of my die cut, to give the effect of stitching and the outcome is below.......

Hope you are well, and having a nice weekend....... weather again here in Cornwall a mix bag, but nice to be a bit cooler....... well what you all got planned this weekend, today I have been up the yard and done my chores, lunged by boy today, nice to see him doing things with no rider, more natural....... run the rabble, and even avoided the evil scones again today, think my willpower is with me, well at least for the minute....... this afternoon I will heading of in to town, need to get some more gems from the craft shop........ and maybe meet friends for a coffee, how civilized is that....... before I returned home this morning, I needed to go in to Bailey's Country Feed Store, to get a few bits for my horse, and came out with some Tea Pigs Tea Temples....... they are biodegradable tea bags, and the flavor is wait for it..... Good afternoon All,

Hope you are all well.

Once again a bit of a mix bag weather wise today here in Cornwall , but at least there is a nice cool breeze....... up the yard as per usual this morning, rode walked the dogs and then had a coffee with the girls, lovely, then to my horror, noticed that the log cabin is opening........ now anybody who has been reading my blog, will know that they sell evil scones in there with clotted jam and cream......... and no matter how hard you try to walk past them, they beckon to you, like the mermaids on the rocks, and no matter how hard you try to escape you are mesmerized, until you are drawn to the counter to buy one or two......... once you have done that then and only then you are free to go....... so today I tentatively crept past the log cabin to get to my truck, my heart was pounding, phew made it, jumped in to my truck and drove off, will I be able to do the same tomorrow, we will see......... Hope you are all well, the weather here in Cornwall at the mo is grey and overcast, but still very muggy, and no air........ at work it has been so hot and clammy, making us all feel drained...... on the bright side this is my last night shift tonight, till next week that is......... so I am afraid I have not done much on the crafting front, just made sure my DT commitments are up to date, however I was so pleased to see that I was in the top five over on 52cct.blogspot. and also over at houseofcardschallenge. so thank you ladies, and I am now showing of my badges........  I did have a little play around with a card today, using some printable clear vellum and the outcome is below, It is expressing the way I feel at the moment..........the freedom of the balloons embarking on to a new adventure, or being popped by a seagull of course................

Good Afternoon Readers,

Have been away from my desk the last couple of day's, as my Mum was taken in to hospital late Friday night, with breathing problems, so myself and family have been going to the hospital, she has improved since being in there, and we are waiting on the results of a scan she had this morning, so fingers crossed all will be well and she can come home....... according to the paramedic, the weather we have had lately, has caused a lot of breathing problems with the elderly, as the air has been so hot and humid, so although it is lovely  to have the sun, we should also spare a thought for those who struggle with it, my hubbie suffers with Asthma, and has had to use his inhalers a lot more due to the heat, it must be awful to struggle to get your breath, so even though the sun is lovely, it is nice to have an overcast and much cooler day today, anyhoo enough of me, hope you all had a good weekend, and did lots of nice things, today I have managed to join in with the fun over at houseofcards, and I do need to make sure that I am up to date with my DT work, this afternoon, only back in to work tonight, so once again for the next three nights I will be a Night Walker, speak gain soon God willing.

Well as promised, here it is the dreaded Wedding Card........ why is it so difficult to make a Wedding Card and make it personal, now Lola at work is getting married on Saturday, what could be so difficult as that, just the fact that I have been asked to make the card, so I have tried to make it as personal as possible, Lola is not a fussy girl, she is not what I would call a girlie girl, ( a bit like me actually) now listening to the weeks of planning she has been doing, I have managed to get some snippets of her dress, ie,  colour Champagne, only a bit darker....... Tiara is Apricot Diamante's, but she has had some customization done to the dress, she has added a Black Rose at the shoulder, to honor her Dad who is no longer with us......... so below is the Design I came up with hope she likes it....... will find out tomorrow.......

Good Morning Readers,

Well I am back at my desk........... been away a couple of day's work an all, well how you all liking this weather....... have you all melted yet, I know on occasions I have felt like I am, never satisfied, Oh well, going to do a few chores around the house, and then will do a bit of crafting this afternoon, need to make a Birthday Card and a Wedding Card, Birthday Card sorted, Wedding card a bit more difficult, I would like to try and design my card around the colour of the Bride's dress, which is Champagne and Black, will upload it when I have finished it........ anyhoo, onwards and upwards, took some pics this morning up at the yard, some of my boy, Ace of Spades, and some of the new arrival, so pull up a chair and have a peep....... speak again later today..........

Good Afternoon Readers,

Well I am glad to say it is a bit cooler here in Cornwall today......... it is so sad that we wait so long to see some sunshine, then we complain that it is to hot, will we ever be satisfied........ well it is Monday again...... I now i keep saying were does the time go, but were does it go, the schools break up at the end of the week, and when they go back we will be in September, and thinking about Christmas, and no doubt moaning about the weather....... anyhoo popped down my daughter Teresa's this morning, had a chat and a coffee, then popped in to see my mum, who is a bit under the weather at the mo, she has been told she needs to drink more, as she was dehydrated, so she has been guzzling juice one after the other, apparently, tea and coffee does not count....... so hopefully she will start to feel her old self again, and me I am back in to work tonight, so will once again be a night walker for the next three nights, today I have joined in with the fun over on houseofcardschallenge, were this week the theme is classic and elegant, my design is below.
