Good Afternoon Readers,

Well it's a beautiful day here in Cornwall, blue skies and sun......... smashing, did sit in the garden for a bit, but got a little bit to hot...... never thought I would be saying that........ so decided to come inside for a bit, well as of Monday I will be starting my new shift pattern at work, I will be going back on to nights, so I will be a Night Walker for three night's of the week....... this will be a permanent move, and I will no longer be working day shift's, have done them before, so just need to get my sleep pattern in shape....... so when I saw the challenge over on  attitudewithatcs. I just could not resist this digi stamp, which would be me just coming of my night shift........

Good Afternoon Readers,

Well it's a lovely day here in Cornwall today, a bit nippy first thing, but if you get out of the wind it really is quite warm...... well my usual morning this morning, did ride today, which was lovely, Ace was a bit lively, probably because he has been on a diet, and can actually move now that he has lost some weight....... rabble enjoyed themselves, especially Chumleigh, jumping in and out of the water trough, and  then returned home, switched on my computer, and found that I was in the top three, over on  pinspirationalchallenges. which was a nice surprise...... then as I was scrolling down my blogs, noticed that

Good Afternoon Readers,

Well have not spoke to you in a couple of day's, work n all, what have you all been up to.......... weather has been a bit hit and miss here in Cornwall, rain, wind, sun......... hardly Summer weather........ woke up this morning to the rain hitting the windows, sun trying to come out at the mo, anyhoo, up the yard as per usual this morning, to bring in a rather disheveled soggy horse, who was not impressed with a wet face so decided to dry himself on my fleece jacket, bless........ so left a much happier horse in the dry of his stable laying on a straw bed......... must make sure to keep Ace in the manner he is accustom to....... and then came home to face the aftermath of not being at home for two day's, I do sometimes wonder if we have squatters, in our house, that come out of hiding once we have left for work,  as you would never believe there was only myself and hubby living in it.......... so house is back in order, for the moment, so decided to grab a coffee and see what was occurring on the challenge front, and decided to join in with the fun over on mimchallegeblog and my entry is below....... What a lovely day we have here in Cornwall at the mo, although I believe it is not going to last......... showers up till Thursday, sounds about right, the schools's have broke up for a week........ anyhoo, morning as per usual up the yard, coffee with Mary, walking rabble etc etc, on the way home I called in to my son Stevie's new house, they have been stripping walls and doors, so I thought I would take some work in progress pics each week, and on return home found hubby, in the garden weeding and clearing, so we sat in the sun for a while, drinking coffee and chatting, then I came in a joined in with the challenge over on simplylessismoore

52 { Christmas Card Throwdown } May Embellishment Challenge ...........

Good Afternoon Readers,

Well the morning here in Cornwall was beautiful, I finished work at 07.00 hrs this morning, and it looked as though it was going to be a glorious day, went to bed for a couple of hours, and woke to grey skies, with the occasional glimpse of the sun....... have managed to sit in the garden for a little while between clouds...... anyhoo, as  my readers are aware, I have been on a ghost hunting mission at work..... due to the strange going's on that we have experienced the last couple of week's........ so once again, I went to work armed with my camera, and once again, took some pics, and nothing...... so to excuse the pun I am giving up the ghost, the only eerie pix I took was the reflection of the Moon through the trees on the office wall, which I had to admit, when I was standing in the office on my own with the lights out, the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end....... so back to the here and now, this morning, I have joined in with the challenge over on 52cct.blogspot. and my entry is below, I wanted to keep my design clean and simple.

I did not have any Twine so I improvised and used some pretty Star and Bead wire in red, I thought the Stars and Beads complemented the Embossing Folder, and the Cranberry Ink matched with the colour of the beads.

Well it really is a grotty day here in Cornwall, rain and wind, not a very good start to a Bank Holiday weekend......... hopefully it will brighten up, we can only hope.......well nearly halfway through the year already, were does the time go........ just not enough hours in the day, anyhoo, up the yard as per usual this morning, Ace is on a diet, and that is not going down to well at the mo......... he had finished his hay, before I had even left this morning, but for his own good, he has such a huge field that he shares with my friends horse Whisper, so they have a lot of grass, although try telling them that....... so popped in to my Mum's on the way home, for a coffee and a chat, and as I left my Mum's I met my son Stevie doing his deliveries, so pulled over and had a little chat with him, and made arrangements to pop in to see what he done to his new house on Sunday, so looking forward to that, once in doors, after all chores done, I decided to enter the challenges over on , and the outcome is below,

Hi Readers it's me again,

As you are aware, I am a member of the design team over at  fattastictuesday., and this is my Inspirational Post, It is a fun challenge blog, and the only rules are..... your card or fat book measures 4 x 4, and you follow the sketch, if you are new to this like me, I found it a bit daunting, when I wanted to join in with the great challenge blogs, that are out there,  you look at the Design Team's creations, and think well I cannot join in as I do not have the stamps or Digi Stamps, that they are using, and some of us are not in the financial position, to go out and purchase the stamps that are being used, most challenge sites will actually say that you do not have to use the items that they are using, but if like me you do Not read things properly, it can still be a bit off putting, so I improvised, as long as you follow the theme of the challenge, it does not matter what stamps or Digi stamps you use, and I must admit, I went on to the Webb, and you will be surprised the amount of free Digi Stamps you can download. So don't be put of, join in with the fun of the challenge, but beware they are addictive......

Monday Madness........

Good Morning Readers,

Just a quickie this morning, got to work the next two day's, so will be away from my desk.......... well I hope you all had a good weekend, the weather at the mo, here in Cornwall is dry, I think it may be another sunny day, to early to tell, have just finished removing most of the lounge, kitchen etc etc, into a room that we can lock, so the rabble cannot eat it........... there new thing when I come in at lunchtime, is to throw there water bowl all around the floor, so when i enter the hall, I am usually paddling........, just as well I took the carpet up, I did do this before I got the rabble, as we have Victorian tiles in the hall and the lounge, and it seemed a shame to cover them, as they are in perfect condition, and now well washed...... we also put a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs, I am making them seem really naughty, but they are good, apart from the water..... well I must go and finish clearing the furniture in to Bill's next door lol, so will speak again in the next couple of day's, so please all try to stay out of mischief !!!!!!!! and now for my Monday Funnies.

Christmas Card Challenge # 25 Candles.........SCCC25

Good Afternoon Readers,

Hope you are all well.......... it is another lovely day here in Cornwall, sun shining.......long may it last, well busy busy, this morning, up the yard as per usual, rode my Ace, without falling of today....... then run the rabble in the fields, Chumleigh has a new thing, when we have finished, and  we are on the way out of the field he jumps in to the water trough, not once but twice....... he does it every time, then had a text  from my son, to say he had got the keys to his new house......  so on the way home I went and had a nose, and the house is lovely, needs work doing on it, as it has been empty for two years,  parts of  it are over 100 years old, the garden is over grown, but is huge, it even has electric gates on the side of the house.......  and the view is amazing, from the back of the house it overlooks fields, and from the front you can see over to St Ives, it has some original features still, fireplaces in the bedroom, and the loft has it's own staircase, when I went to have a look, I half expected to see Mrs Bates in her rocking chair....... so of course I took a couple of pixs, and the day got even better, when I returned home hubby was in the kitchen, cleaning out the cupboards bless, so after a couple of cups of coffee, I decided to join in with the challenge over on christmascardchallenges and my entry is below......

Simply Less is More Week # 120 Theme........

Good Afternoon Readers,

Well it's a lovely day here in Cornwall, have already been sat in the garden for a while, did a night shift last night, and tried to get a bit of sleep this morning, but the rabble had other plans........ so decided to get up, and went and sat in the garden with a coffee, well if you have been reading my blog, you will know, that there has been some strange going on's the last couple of night shift's I have done, banging, shuffling creaking doors, and of course nobody there, so decided to take my camera in to work last night, to see if I could capture anything......... so once everybody was safely tucked up and the bedroom doors closed, and alarms on, out came the camera, I had  poor Mark,  going around turning of lights,  going up and down the huge staircase we have, turning lights on then turning lights of, up and down corridors doing the same,  at one point I think Mark was getting quite fed up, but being the trooper he is, he continued to be my partner in Ghost Hunting......  I am sure that at one point, what with the lights going on and of, and the flash of my camera, that some small aircraft though it was an illegal  landing strip...... but alas, no orbs, no ghostly figures....... but as I am one not to give up easily, I am going to take a different camera in with me next week, but I did manage to get a lovely picture of the sunset, earlier on in the evening, anyhoo back to today, I joined in with the challenge over on simplylessismoore  this morning, and the outcome is below........

INKspirational Challenge # 20 Case It...........

Good Afternoon Readers,

A bit later than usual posting my blog today, had a bit of a hectic morning......... up the yard as usual, rode Ace, took rabble for a run, my friend Julie was up there this morning with me also, and she was due to ride her horse Whisper, but unfortuantly, Whisper had a touch of colic, so we had to stop her from lying down, so we took it in turns to keep her walking, for about 3/4 of an hour, then we had to put her back in her stable, and watch her for a further 1/2 hour, to make sure she did not try to lay down, but all was well, and had no need to call the vet........ cause of colic could be a number of things, but we think this time it was caused by pigging out on the nice green grass that is coming through at the mo...... so it put me all behind, late going to Mum's, etc etc, but anyhoo, just had time to enter the challenge over on inkspirationalchallenges
