Good Afternoon reader's,

it's not a very nice day weather wise, in my little corner of Cornwall, we have even had some thunder this morning..... what's it like were you are... have all you all finished your Christmas Shopping yet ...... I thought I had , but I keep getting extra pressies from friends at work, because I have changed shift's and work on a different floor, I have made new friends along with my old ones, and they are buying me presents, yes I know it's very kind of them, and no you don't give to receive, but I can't do that, I have to give something in return..... so I will have to go a get a few more thing's in the morning.... but then it's nice to know, that I have a lot of friends who are thinking of me at this time of year, but I will suggest that we do a secret Santa next year ...... getting back to pressies, Hubby has informed me that my present from him this year , is something I don'd think I need but I do !!!!!!! Hmm, now I know I need a new ironing board, I hope that's not what I've got ...... I have racked my brains trying to think what it could be, but I keep coming back to the dreaded Ironing Board........ well not much longer to wait, the suspense is killing me ....... anyhoo, I have actually done a bit of crafting today, have loads more to do, but they have to stay under wraps for a while..... but this one I can show you all..... It is my Daughter Teresa and Hubbies Wedding Anniversary on Christmas Eve, and below is the card I have made for them, I hope they like it.......
Recipe for My Design,
Cream Linen effect Base Card Size C5,
I have distressed the card with Tim Holtz Distress inks
Tea Dye
Rusted Hinge
Weathered Wood
Big Shot Parchment Die Big Shot Fancy Frame Die both of which have been distress with the same inks as the base card.
Spellbinder Fancy Frame for the Sentiment
Two Antique Style Buttons
Antique piece of Broken Jewelry from my stash, I picked this particular piece because of the green, I wanted to bring the splash of colour in the image out.
Two Rusted Red Rose Buds
1 x Bronze Heart
The Organza Bow was originally pink, so I distressed it with the Tea Dye Ink
Image Available from my E-Bay Shop,
I have used Copper Foil around the edge of the image, and down once side of the card, to give an aged look to the style.
