Christmas Card Challenge # 28 Lace.........

Good Afternoon Readers,
Well a grotty day here in Cornwall today, quite the contrast of yesterday, grey and chilly....... well have not stepped foot outside the front door as of yet....... and it will probably stay that way, working tonight, so catching up with a few a things that I have slipped behind in...... did sort of tidy my craft room this morning, really could do with a mega sort out, will try and bribe my daughters to come and give me hand...... have joined in with the challenge over on christmascardchallenges. this week, there theme is lace, found this one a bit difficult, as the only lace I had was a rather wide piece of pale pink, did think about cutting it to size, but the trouble with lace it seems to loose it's shape, so decided to cover the front of my card with whole piece of lace, and use it as a backing, below is the outcome, in rather un-traditional colour's.

Recipe for my card,
C5 size Cream Linen Effect Base Card,
Pale Pink Lace
X Cut Christmas Dove Die
Spellbinder Label Die

I cut the Heart Die in white Card Stock then distressed it with an Ink It Up Pigment ink in Cranberry, to co-ordinate with the Pale Pink Lace, used the same ink to edge the sentiment.

52 { Christmas } Card Throwdown June Colour Challenge..........

Good Afternoon Readers,
Well another nice day here in Cornwall, although clouding up a bit at the mo, but still warm, well I have had an active morning today, actually rode my horse, which was great, although still loads of mites about, even though I sprayed Ace with horse fly repellent, they still seemed to annoy him, and me come to that, so we trotted most of the ride to try and avoid the damm things....... had the proverbial couple of cups of coffee on my return, and a natter, then it was time to walk the rabble, on my way home from the stables I stopped of at a local car boot, and of course picked up a few bargains........ and then came home to find hubby cutting the front hedge........ so decided to help........ quite enjoyed using the hedge trimmer, got a bit worried when hubby said I looked like a woman possessed, and quite scary, had a flashback to last week when I attacked the tree's and shrubs in the back garden with a hack saw........ hmmm maybe I should seek professional help, maybe harboring some deep dark obsessions.......... so once the hedge was a mere shadow of it's self, and hubby had talked me back in to giving him the hedge trimmer...... I came in to join in with the challenge over on 52cct.blogspot.

Recipe for my Card,

Wicked Wednesday ATCs Challenge # 86 On The Playground.......

Good Morning Readers,
It's another glorious day here in Cornwall, although sadly I will only be sitting in the shade....... had a bit of a bad day yesterday, started on Saturday night, think I may have got a touch of sunstroke....... felt cold, sick and had a thumping headache, so although the weather has been hot, I have been in a fluffy dressing gown with the hood up, cuddling a hot water bottle, that's the trouble when you don't see the sun very much, you get greedy...... actually, I think it was when I was out in the garden hacking my trees and shrubs to death on Saturday morning, I had no hat on, and was wearing a vest and jammie bottoms yes jammie bottoms, but I am feeling much better today, just as well as I start my new shift pattern tonight, three night shifts, so my blogs maybe a bit hit and miss, anyhoo, decided to join the challenge over on wickedwednesdayatc. this morning and this is what I came up with.......

Hobbycutz Challenge # 7 Flowers, Roses..........

Good Afternoon readers,
Yes you are not seeing things, this IS my second blog of the day........ it's come over all cloudy here in Cornwall, and it was such a nice morning, Oh well, did manage to sit in the garden with my mug of tea, and I think the shrubs have started to relax a bit, as I have not been wielding a hacksaw for a bit...... no seriously the reason this is my second blog, is because I have entered the challenge over on  hobbycutzchallenges , and wanted to share my entry with you, and also because I love chatting......

Recipe for my Card is,

7ins Fancy Frame Card, cut using my E Craft Machine, the base card was a white 320 gsm, which I printed a design sheet on to, using the My Craft Studio Tattered Lace CD Rom. Using the same design sheet I cut a frame using an X Cut Die, to layer the Vintage Photo on to. X Cut flourish die was used to cut a black flourish. Red Silk Roses found in my craft stash, Black Feather also found in my craft stash, in the centre of the roses, I placed a tiny white faux pearls broken earring, sentiment was computer generated.

{ PIN }spirational Challenge # 59 ..........

Good Morning Readers,
Well another glorious day here in Cornwall, a bit more breezy than yesterday, but still warm, well worked night shift last night, finished this morning at 07.00 hrs, got home and fell in to bed, woke a couple of hours later, and went in to the garden and attacked some bushes with a hack saw, like some deranged housewife......... ( I think Bill my neighbor is getting used to my bizarre behavior), either that or I awoke from a  nightmare about the day of the triffids and decided to kill all the bushes in my garden, the other reason  being I  woke with a renewed vigor...... the later being the most acceptable....... seriously they did need to be cut back, but my renewed vigor is beginning to wear off now, must make myself some Tea.......well what are you all up to this lovely day, I am doing zilch, nader, nothing, apart from entering a couple of challenges, hubby at work, and it's his birthday today, he is 61 years young........ so will have a meal later, with some wine, but for now I am going to make myself a nice mug of tea, and sit in the now larger garden, I have just noticed that the remainder of the shrubs in my garden have started to quiver when I enter the garden, I wonder why.......
below is my entry for the challenge over on pinspirationalchallenges

Recipe for my Card ,
5 by 7 White Base Card 320 gsm
Grey Chevron Design Sheet from Payper Box, which I must admit when I purchased it some time ago, I thought it would be something I would not use, and wondered why I purchased it in the first place, just goes to show.....
Mad Hatter Digi Stamp was a freebie,
I placed the digi stamp in the center of my base card,
then covered the edges with my design sheet,
