Good Afternoon Readers,
Hope you you all had a good weekend....... weather here in Cornwall at the mo a rather grey and windy day.......still I suppose it's what to be expected for this time of year, what happened to the nice weekend that was forecast...... we never had it, did you......... well went out yesterday with hubby, to buy a new rug for the lounge, I have Victorian Tiles, and I do not like them all covered up, so of we went to Carpet Right, looked at the rugs...... the largest they did was eight feet by six feet, the one we liked was called the Paris Collection, price tag £129.00, for a rug....... nearly purchased it, but then I decided to go to the back of the store to see if there was anymore...... and guess what, they had carpet remnants pilled against the wall, and there in the middle, the same colour tones as the rug was, a 13 foot by 6 foot remnant......priced at £40.00, bargain so it was soon loaded in to the truck....... and with the savings on the rug, hubby purchased Queen Smarty Pants my Border Terrier, a pink coat for the winter....... once home we layed the carpet, and I must say it does look rather smart, well back into work tonight, but have managed to join in with the fun over on 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and my design is below.....
