Well before anything, I would like to welcome Crafty Cards, to my blog, thank you for taking the time to drop in, please pop back from time to time, it would be great to hear from you....

Well the weather here in Cornwall over the last couple of day's has been lovely once again, sunshine, with a breeze, well finished my night shift's this morning, yippee, not back in again till Monday, but for the next two week's I have four night shift's,a week instead of three which is not so good, but at least the extra cash will come in handy for going toward's  my new exhaust, I get Noah ( My Truck ) back this evening, with a sparkly new one....... at least he will not sound like a tank anymore, became quite embarrassing, I would not open my driver window, as it was to noisy, so at least I will be able to drive with the window wide open now, well had a little play around with my new printer today, seems a bit complicated at the mo, but I am sure I will get the hang of it..... did have a play around this morning before going to bed, as I wanted to join in with the fun over on wickedwednesdayatc and my Entry is below......

Well I have just stumbled through the door, after finishing my night shift........ one more to go, so I will be crawling in to bed shortly....... but what I would rather be doing is playing with my new printer....... as my regular readers will now, my old printer died on me at the weekend, and I have been lost without it, although saying that, it has made me use up old stash...... example is my entry for christmascardchallenges  which is below, also a pic of my new printer.......Anyhoo, must love and leave you all, as I am of to bed, night night..........

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge # 95 Zodiac............

Good Morning Readers,

Well it is a very soggy day here in Cornwall, the rain has been a pouring for most of the night ........... the garden actually looks waterlogged in places, can you believe it........ after all that lovely sunshine we have had over the last few weeks........ the water was running down my back garden path this morning like a river....... if I had a raft I could have done some white water rafting, ok slight exaggeration........ but it was quite rapid..... the drains were barely able to cope........ at the moment it has stopped, but it is still very humid, woke up with a pounding  headache this morning, oh well, just have to get on with it....... anyhoo, back in to work tonight, once again the first of three night shifts....... Mark is picking me up, as my truck has gone away for a weeks rest, and to have a new exhaust fitted, so this morning, I decided to join in with the fun over on wickedwednesdayatc, and as I have no printer I had to improvise, so  I cut up an old magazine I had, using the star sign Cancer as that is my star sign, it was just like being back at school when we did a collage using old magazines, brought back some good memories...... have also entered the fun over on tuesdaytaggers with the design.

2.5 by 3.5 White Base Card 360 gsm.

I have no printer at the moment so I had to revert back to my school days and use old magazines, to cover the white base card

Corse Sandpaper used to scuff around the edges of the finished ATC, to add an uneven edge, then smoothed of.

Then I went around the edge in a Fluid Gold Metallic Brush Marker by Papermania. I also highlighted some of the lettering, to add a bit of depth. 

CAS on Sunday Challenge # 14 Tag It..........

Good Afternoon Readers,

Well it's a gloomy day here in Cornwall today, wind and rain.......... but still very mild, up with the lark's again this morning, up the yard, lunged Ace, walked the rabble on the fields, then waited patiently for my friend Lesley's dad to arrive........ you see Brian looks after my Truck and Hubbies Car....... now I know Noah

 ( Name of my Truck) has needed a new exhaust for a little while now, it has been patched up etc etc....... but decided to get a new one fitted...... well made arrangements with Brian to take a look and see what he needed to order simples....... but.... the last couple of day's my truck has been making a funny noise, so today explained to Brian about said noise...... so he got underneath, came back out, and said no wonder it's making a noise, the exhaust has broke of at the back and is resting on the drive shaft........ by this time I had glazed over and had a vacant look about me, ( now if Brian was describing a stamp or a die cut, I would have been right up there with him) but drive shaft no...... anyhoo, turns out that Noah, goes over to Helston tonight, and will not be returning home till the end of the week....... at least I will be working so will not need him so much, so returned home, did a few chores around the house, then decided to join in with the fun over on cleanandsimpleonsunday., now the regular readers of my blog, will now that my printer decided to break yesterday....... so I have been rummaging around old stash to create a design, and the outcome is below.....

Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge # 136 Spread a Little Joy.......

Good Afternoon readers,

Well have been away from my desk for a couple of day's....... but back today, well what you all been up to..... the weather here in Cornwall is still on the humid side, we did have a few claps of thunder last night, and then rain, but still warm and sticky...... have not done much on the crafting front, my DT work is all up to date, but I did have a lovely surprise in the week, found out that I was in the top three over on wickedwednesdayatc Challenge, and also had an Honorable mention over on 52cct.blogspot. so I would like to say a big thank you ladies, well today has been a challenge  for me so far, my printer has died, I have tried unplugging, re plugging, turning upside down and shaking, but no, still not working..... so rang hubbie at work, hyperventilating down the phone, of course hubbie was as calm as ever, saying do not worry I will sort it, but me not being the most patient of people, was screaming what this minute, I need my printer... quite embarrassing really, like some spoiled brat........ so hubby asked if I had tried turning on and off, etc etc..... to which I replied yes I have done all that plus the shaking........ so printer has been deemed officially kaput..... so I am now awaiting the arrival of a new one.......  which hopefully will not take to long......  left what sort up to hubbie....... so when it came to joining in with the fun over on craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge it was a challenge, as I was unable to print any Christmas Papers, so I rummaged through my stash to find something appropriate for the challenge and my entry is below......
