Good Afternoon readers,
I hope you all survived the storm we had ........ was not to bad here in my little corner of Cornwall, although we did have a fair bit of rain ....... if you did get it bad were you are I hope nobody was hurt ......... today we have a bit of a mish mash weather wise, sun, rain and still windy at times, well no lie in for me today , was up at 05.30, to go and sort Ace out, if you read my blog yesterday, you will know that all the horses were kept in overnight , with the pending storm ...... so had to go and muck his stable and put him out in to the field, with that sorted came home, I went to the craft market last night with my friend Kath, nearly did not go as it was lashing it down with rain , but in the end we went, and I am glad I did, I actually got all Christmassy when I went in, as there were tree decorations, hand made bath bombs, candles, fairy lights, hand made jewelry  handbags, it was lovely, all we needed to round it of would have been a cup of eggnog ...... but we had a coffee instead....... after a lot of looking, and re-looking did manage to purchase a couple of pressies for friends at work, Glenn the Nurse in Charge and my old mate Sherry ....... see pics below, my friend Kath, remarked I was like a Magpie when I went in, as I went straight over to all the sparkly things, I also inquired about having a stand there next year, to sell my hand made Cards and Tags....... so we ended up very glad that we went after all......

PS Shh don't tell hubby but I did buy by myself a nice chunky bracelet .....

My Precious .......

Good Afternoon Readers,
And a rather soggy one it is ....... well it is here in my little corner of Cornwall, hope you all remembered to put your clocks back ....... and gained your extra hour in bed, I was up the same time as usual 05.30, and thought it was going to be lighter, but it was still dark, but by the time I had got up to the stables, it was quite light, and it was nice to get Ace in from the fields and be able to see him ...... so after I had done my chores up at the yard, and I was glad when Anne said the horses were staying in for the night , due to the weather, I love it when I know Ace is in his stable snug as a bug when the weather is not so good, so left a rather contented horse munching away at a rather large pile of hay, well on the way home I passed my fav charity unit P.A.N.T.S., not expecting to see it open being Sunday an all, but imagine my delight when I saw the open sign out on the roadside, my truck must have noticed it as well, as he just took control, and turned up the side road, so of course, I did not want to disappoint him, and went and had a look, fatal, purchased a pair of harem trousers for me 50p and a Bench coat for my grandson £3.50 bargain, and of course some soft toys for the rabble ....... so we all came away happy bunnies, so called in to my son Stevie's which I was going to do anyway, as I had to drop Birthday Cards in, so I went in armed with chocolate and a coat for Jacob, Stevie thought the coat was great, so I scored brownie points with that one,
( Only Stevie can be very critical when it comes to Jacob's clothes) so had a coffee and a cuddle with both of them ...... then returned home to find hubby in the large area  attached to our house, that used to be his mum's shop ....... sorting out things, the plan is to install a log burner or a range in it , sometime next year ..... needs a bit of work doing to it first , he is now in the kitchen with the smoothie maker going, making him self a health smoothie, one that gives you energy supposedly....... he is also going to make me one, that has got Grapefruit, Lemons, Cucumber, Apple and cinnamon in, Hmm sounds delicious, will let you all now how it goes ........ anyhoo apart from doing a few behind the scenes things on my computer, will not be doing much in the way of crafting this afternoon, as I am of out to a Craft Market this evening with my friend Kath, might be able to pick up a couple of Hand Made Chrissie Pressies, but before I go I would like to share with you the card I mad my Daughter Sarah for her Birthday,

Good Afternoon Readers,

Well are you all bracing yourselves and battening down the hatches ...... the weather forecast for tomorrow and Monday are not looking very good for some places, I am hoping it will bypass us, and stay out at sea ........ not sure what the chances of that happening will be, at the moment the sun is shining here in my little corner of Cornwall..... as my regular readers will know, I was due to go Christmas shopping today, but it has been put of until next weekend, as my friend Sherry who I was going with, has very inconveniently got the plasterers in ...... so I will be pulling my hair out next week as apposed to this week, just as well I have had it all cut of ....... well today saw me up the yard running around in circles with my horse Ace of Spades ...... not sure who was sweating the most me or him...... but at least I also had a good workout !!!!!!!!  did a few chores, before leaving the yard to venture in to Falmouth, to purchase some self adhesive velcro ....... I will take my hat of to whoever invented that one ..... as I hate sewing with a vengeance ........ had a little look around , picked up a nice little sewing box for a pressie for my friend Julie, some tennis balls for the rabble, and of course I had to venture in to the craft dept ....... I do not need anything, well that's what I keep telling myself anyway, but did buy some new water colour pencils, that were £33.00 down  to £23.00 bargain, so they jumped of the shelf pretty darn quick and in to my shopping basket ....... job done, back in to the truck and home, to join in with the
fun over on  craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge and my design is below..... well will speak again tomorrow, if I have not been blown away .......

Good Afternoon Readers,
I hope you are all well ...... what ya all been up to, today the weather here in Cornwall has been quite pleasant, sunny with a strong wind, but still not that cold for this time of year, especially as we are nearly in to November ...... Clocks go back this weekend , yipeee an extra hour in bed, but I can never remember if it get's darker in the morning or at night, oh well I will soon find out ... I am planning on doing a bit more Christmas shopping tomorrow ...... without any of my daughter's with me, shhh don't tell them ....... I need to be able to concentrate, and as much as I love them, that is something I can not do when they are with me, we always seem to go of on a tangent, and forget half the thing's I am supposed to be getting ...... so hopefully I will be able to a bit tomorrow, I have been busy behind the scenes on my two challenge blogs......
Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenge Blog  goes live next Saturday, getting excited about that, and I have made some changes over on my other challenge blog, who's name has been changed to...
Fan-Tastic Tuesday , we only used to do 4 by 4 challenges, but it has been changed to any size projects, as long as it remains square and incorporates the theme of the week ..... I am hoping the changes made will increase the entries, I myself did find doing such a small project could at times be quite challenging ....... and if I was suffering from dexterity problems, even harder,.... but now any size is accepted big or small ....... so after quite a lot of time on the computer, I decided to have a break and join in with the fun over at Winter Wonderland, were the theme is Check It Out ..... and my design is below, hope you like it ....

Winter Wonderland

Recipe for My Design,
6ins Tag cut using my Cricut Machine
White Card Stock, distressed, with a Gold and Warm Red Ink Pad, once I had distressed the tag, I went around the edge with the Gold, then used a Clarity Stamp Tree Silouette NDC221-F, and stamped in the warm red ink pad around the edge of the tag, when I was happy with it, I then used the same stamp and stamped the whole design in Gold..
At The Top I have added a Red and Gold Tartan Ribbon, some gold skeleton leaves, Gold Metal Leaves and then finished it of with some Berries and three gold crystal gems.

Good Afternoon Readers,
Hope you are well ....... the weather here today in my little corner of Cornwall, is loads better than yesterday, we have had some rain but it has not been constant like yesterday ...... hows it been were you are ..... well up the yard as per usual today, to fetch in from the fields a rather soggy horse ...... he was drenched bless him, so toweled his legs of and put his nice dry stable rug on ....... I could only just lift his outdoor rug as it was so wet, so after a nice groom, to get at least some of the mud of his face, I decided to keep him in tonight, so he could have a nice lie down on his straw, so when I left the yard I had a rather content horse munching his way through a pile of hay ...... will ride him in the morning, which will probably wipe the smile of his face ..... so on the return home stopped of at my fav charity shop Pants..... and purchased a lovely white shirt with pale pink vintage roses on for a £1.00, which will look good with jeans, and after I had dropped of my friend Julie, I called in to the Air Ambulance Charity shop, well I had to, as there was a car parking space right outside, with my name on it ....... and purchased a lovely blue fluffy fleece for up the stables, £2.50, bargain...... and while I was in there I filled out an application to become a volunteer to work in there shop ....... I may  or may not hear anything, but at least they have my details ...... returned home and decided to do a bit of housework  before settling in to my craft room, well was doing a bit of washing up, and noticed that when I emptied the bowl the water was taking a long while to drain away, which pointed to the sink being blocked  so tipped a load of bleach down plughole, eyes streaming from fumes, dogs evacuated to the garden, but still not draining, so thought what can I push down plughole that will bend, Idea, some old curtain wire ....... so started to push wire down plug, seemed to go a long way down, then stopped, so wiggled it around as you do ...... went to pull it out, and guess what it was stuck ..... so I kept tugging at it nothing, so there was I left with a four foot long piece of curtain wire hanging from my plughole, then the light went on in my brain...... I had forgotten about the hook on the end of the wire, and yes you've guessed it, it was caught on something, so in the end I had to take the s bend to pieces to get the wire out, but at least I cured the blocked pipe ....... anyhow, after all that I decided to join in with the fun over at
Pin Spirational and the theme is Halloween,  I decided to use my Craft Artist for this design, I purchased it sometime ago, and have never really used it, so I thought I would give it a go ..... and my design is below.....

Good Afternoon Readers,
Well I hope you are all well ...... today the weather in my little corner of Cornwall, is not to bad, quite blustery but not cold, ideal for drying
my washing ....... have not been up to much lately, my Mum was back in hospital on Thursday, but she is home again now, pleased to say, so that was  bit of a worrying time, but all is well ....... and yesterday, I did a bit of Christmas shopping ....... yep actually got a couple of pressies, went with my eldest daughter Sarah ........ I must say I did not enjoy it one bit ...... loved being with Sarah, but as for the shopping ...... I could have quite easily given up and gone home, my feet were killing me, and I got quite bored, it probably would have been better if I had known what I was getting, but I had not a clue ...... so after painstakingly purchasing some pressies, I said to Sarah, I need a pair of chocolate brown leggings, do you think I could find any, no,
any colour but ......  so came away with an embossing folder, some hessian ribbon and some card stock, which I did enjoy choosing, well after a busy morning up at the stables,  I am safely  back in the confounds of my Craft Room ...... and I managed to join in with the fun over on
