God Give Me Willpower........

Afternoon All,

Well what grotty weather here in Cornwall, back has come the wind and rain........not that it left us for very long, oh well, as they say keep calm and paddle on.......today has been quite a busy one yet again, up the yard by 07.00 and riding by 08.30, stable and chores at the yard all finished by 11.30, then back in to town to get some card blanks for my mum, and yes of course I could not go in to a craft shop without purchasing something for moi, so I got a pretty embossing folder for the cuttlebug, so hope to play with that a bit later, so called in to my mum's, who is busy crafting herself at the moment, she is addicted to the digital downloads you can get, and she spends ages colouring and shading, they look so cute when she has finished, popped out to see my brother Vincent, who is also busy himself at the moment, turning his garage in to a Jewellery making studio, he owns a Jewellers in Falmouth right next door to my Hubbies shop, and has decided to make his own Silver Jewellery designs, so once I'd finished chatting I left mum's and returned home for a hot shower, made hubby a syrup sponge, and boy did I find it hard not to lick the spoon, this is my 8th day without chocolate, I got up at 02.00 this morning, and craved something sweet, and found it so hard not to go rummaging in to the cupboards, why don't they do chocolate patches, they do for smoking......... anyhow, below is the card design I have done for our January Challenge over on Craft Bubble, the theme is Summer, so will speak again soon.

Renewed Vigour Still Here.......

Good Afternoon All,

Firstly I would like to say hello to Catherine, for taking the time to join my blog, hope you are well, and look forward to speaking to you again soon, are you going to join our Crafter's Delight's Monthly Card Challenge's we have in our group over on Craft Bubble...... Know you now I said I awoke the other morning with a renewed vigour...... guess what it's still here, even though we had two hectic day's at work, what's going on with me..... I ask myself, normally I have these bursts of energy that last all of...... 2 mins, maybe it's because I have not consumed large obscene amounts of chocolate......... although at work yesterday the guy's did say that a small amount of really dark chocolate a day is actually good for you, the only problem being is that I have no willpower to only allow myself a small piece a day, and not scoff down the whole bar, will have to get oh wise and wonderful one ( hubby that is) to take control of the said chocolate, and only leave me my daily quota, anyhow, in my last blog I also said I was going to make a Christmas Card a day to stop the crafting rush nearer Christmas, scrap that, what I meant to say was a card a week or maybe two, well today I have been up at the yard, sorted my handsome boy Ace out, walked the rabble, returned home and put a patch on Ace's stable rug, that had a hole in it, washed the floors, hoovered, done some washing, polished and even sorted the inside of my truck out, that was beginning to resemble the inside of a green wheelie bin, had a shower, and now I am talking to yoy, phew, and it is only 03.00 in the afternoon. My plans for in a mo is to make a couple of cards for a challenge, so I will love and leave all, before renewed vigour up and leaves.... will speak again soon.

Best Wishes

In With The New........

Morning All,

Well I have awoke with a renewed vigour this morning, a very positive attitude, could be due to the fact that I had a lie in right up till 07.00...... shame I have to go to work, would loved to have spent the day crafting, anyhow, hopefully it will last until Monday cause that's when I'm of again......... I have so many ideas buzzing around my head at the mo, I have decided to carry a notebook around with me so I can jot down any ideas that spring to mind, it's amazing the amount of times I think of a theme, then forget part way through the day, just hope the guy's at work don't mind me getting said notebook out during the course of the WORKING day....... spent yesterday afternoon making Shabby Chic Blooms to go on to my Amazon Store.......have proved quite popular so far, also have decided to make one Christmas Card a day to avoid the Christmas Rush, only as Kathy K over on the Purple Princess Blogtastic quite rightly said, that Christmas is only 52 weeks away...... so better get a move on.....below are some pictures of my Daughter Teresa's wedding day in Thailand.

Less is More Drinks Challenge

Another Challenge for Less is More

First Blog of 2013.......

Hi All,

Well this is it 2013, were did 2012 go......... have made up my mind to be more crafty this year, as in making things that is......... started of the year in a bit of a bleak mood, but have sorted myself out I think........ so I will be doing some sort of crafting on my day's off, and not just sitting there looking at everything in the hopes that something will jump out and bite my a..... have any of you made any resolutions........ mine is to cut back on chocolate, yet again and to stop hoarding craft materials, I have a box of pieces of card and paper that I am loathed to throw away, but it just keeps getting bigger, will have to think of ways to use it up, maybe for punching, could make some pretty mish mash flowers with it, very Shabby Chic, also I have to get out of Christmas Card mode, and start thinking sunshine and flowers, I am going to try and use material in my card designs as well, there is some very pretty material around at the moment, so I will ask in the fabric shops for any off cuts they might have...... also will incorporate more fibres and ribbon in my designs this year, see I have all the ideas, just need to put them in to practice..........did pick up some pretty ribbon out of Aldis, have uploaded a picture of it below, they are all three stranded with little beads and gems, very pretty.

Best Wishes
