Too old in the Tooth.......

Good Afternoon fellow bloggers, if there are any left that is.......I have been away from the blog front for quite some time, I am sad to say...thought I would try and keep up with the times, and I joined Facebook, so have been placing different things on there.....but have to admit, I an getting a bit fed up with people airing their dirty laundry on it !!!!!! 

Surely this is not what it is for......I was naive enough to think it was a way of connecting with like minded people, obviously not, anyhoo, I am getting to old for all this drama, just want a quiet life, so thought I would slink back to blogging with my tail between my legs.But I would like to share with you all, if there is anybody out there still....some of my card creations,

This Getting Old Malarky.......

Afternoon All.

I hope this post finds you all well.......when you were younger, the day's and the weeks seemed to just go by lazily,  school holiday's seemed to last forever, the day's felt like they had 30 hours in them....but as I have got older, the days only seem like 20 hour days, as for the weeks, well they fly by at a rate of knots......why is this I wonder....is it because as we get older our lives get more hectic.....our days filled with work, homekeeping, looking after our families.....sometimes all I want to do, is to just take a step back from it all, am I being selfish, I ask myself, I should be grateful, I tell myself, which of course I am extremely grateful, but, I still would just like to stand back from all of the hustle and bustle of everyday life, just for a day, and do what I want, whether it's walking on the beach, sitting in the garden and reading a book, or just sitting and doing nothing....without watching the clock all the time, reminding myself to get my things ready for work, and setting the table for tea, as we all now the list goes on, this getting old malarky is not all it's cracked up to be, especially when that little girl is still in me.......

A Little bit of Time for Me !!!!!!

Morning All....

I hope this Monday Morning finds you all well...... For many of us, it is the start of a working week....for me it is the start, of my time off from work, as many of you know I work night shifts every weekend, so today is a little bit of me time day........as many of us, we lead a hectic life, work, family, homekeeping, the list is endless, so it is great to have some time for oneself, to have the house to ourselves for those rare moments.....so what better time to relax and do some crafting, so after a very long time, I have decide to join in with maybe one or two challenges a week, my first is the wonderful challenge over at..

Having a bit of me Time ........

Afternoon Peeps...

Hope you are all well......here in Cornwall, it has been a lovely day weather wise that is.....sun shining, but a bit chilly....hope you were all OK after Storm Imogen.....we had some dramatic waves here....you cannot beat the Cornish Coastline, in sunshine or storms.....but today for me...I needed a bit of chill out time, before I get ready for work tonight.....so decided to join in again with Mynn's   new challenge,....this will be my second entry....

Morning Peep's

Well what a day we had yesterday here in my little corner of Cornwall.....it was soooo windy,we had a battering....I hope wherever you were you stayed safe.....although some of the pics that were taken of the sea by different people were so dramatic. As we all know there is nothing more beautiful and powerful than Mother Nature......at the moment I cannot hear any wind or rain !!!!! quite worrying.....but as today is Tuesday...it's time for another challenge over at Fan-Tastic Tuesday.
